More- I did not see this thread when I posted in the other forum- However, my point in posting those articles was that there was conflicting information in the two groups of stories- what was actually the truth? Here are a couple more articles: Motor Trend: Toyota/Subaru rear-drive coupe finally caught testing in UK It appears that the first spy shots are out on the highly-anticipated Toyota/Subaru rear-wheel drive coupe that has only recently been confirmed to be in development. A poster on the Camaro5 forums released the photos, showing the development mule outside a test center in the U.K. Featuring mostly Subaru Legacy bodywork, the photos probably aren't an accurate depiction of what the coupe will look like when it hits showrooms around 2011 Car and Driver: 2011 Subaru / Toyota Rear-Wheel-Drive Sports Coupe - Photos No, Subaru is not developing a Legacy coupe. (Seriously, how many people would actually buy that?) So what’s really underneath the camouflaging body panels in these photos? A new rear-wheel-drive sports car, that’s what.
