Some XL's I feel like my arms arm swimming in them or they're too long. I like the fit of this XL. Here's me in a XL For the ladies (and GHG Dave ) here's my GF (5'2") in a S. She says the M is too long and arms are too big... dunno if that even helps lol: Quality/Weight (wet t-shirt contest test) They're not thin like an undershirt, but they're not super heavy like the plain tees you get at Footlocker. Not see through enough for a wet t-shirt contest... Sorry Ryan, no male modeling opportunity here.
Answers are in the thread... 6.1oz is the heaviest weight t-shirt the vendor offers. I can't say with any certainty when the next batch will be or who will be handling it. It could be as soon as these are gone, or it could be mid-summer...
I can see the Hanes tag so I'd say undershirt style...these are nice shirts to workout in and destroy...haha
NO 6.1oz. Heaviest they sell. Same weight as their Gildan brand heavyweight shirt and the Hanes "beefy" tees
Are you whining? Or is this your way of asking for a different color? Seriously tho. We've had plenty of GB's in the past where we order specific colors in specific sizes. Unfortunately, we get a lot of hand-raising and the club is left with 3-4 odd size and color combos 2 years later. We've decided to take a new approach so we don't eat the cost when people order stuff and never pay for it, or get left hanging when they are paid for but never picked up (hence the part about needing to pick it up within 30 days). As you all know, we (the MNSOC officers) aren't a business. We're just a small group of guys who make time to organize, coordinate, and execute these kinds of things. For that reason, I can't say with any certainty if and when the next run of shirts will come along and what colors and sizes they will be available in. I'd certainly hope so, but I simply don't know. I'd certainly like to volunteer to do it all again for run #2, but I can't promise that I'll have the time to do it in the future, nor can I promise I'll get it done in a timely manner. I'm sure the other officers will echo this sentiment. We are all doing the best we can, but we just can't make promises we can't keep. That's not fair to anyone. Another piece of the puzzle is that any (non-white) colors are an additional charge, and price breaks are based on single color orders. For example, we can get a bulk price cut at x amount of units, but only if all of the orders are the same color. We want to be able to offer the swag at a reasonable price, but it's not always possible (as I've found with the embroidered polo shirts) unless we buy hundreds of shirts. My hope is that, like with the DCTC car control clinic, we can get enough of these sold so that any profit we make off of them can go towards lowering the cost of other (and future) events... for example, our free-to-members Spring bbq idea we've been kicking around. (p.s. - Not picking on ya Tony. I just thought it was necesary to more clearly communicate why we went with the white shirts this time around... I can make it yellow or brown for you :ugh::biggrin:)
Oh no, I'm not whining or saying I want a different color, I was just taking a cheap shot at myself! When you guys get to know me better, you'll learn I hardly ever complain, but i do find myself the butt of my own jokes quite a bit To tell you the truth I'm probably going to buy one. i think they look great!
If you beat me in darts tonight, I'll buy you one! (offer only extended to Tony and if I don't have to take over Emily's low score after racking up 500pts again)
^^haha, i dont know about that, You're a silent killer. Nobody notices until its too late. I'll give it a go though!
Oh snaps. I thought you where going to say he had to eat the 4 lb burger and you'd buy him one. That may be more entertaining. Anyhoot. I want a shirt.
doubt it. we'll probably be at Stub and Herbs by then. It's right down the street on the corner of Washington and Oak (UofM, a block south of the new stadium). Feel free to swing by there.
errr, i wish the atm was working at stub & herbs. Then I'd be sporting both club stickers AND this shirt. but really though, if anyone was questioning the quality, it is a pretty heavy shirt, and looks really good. You wont be disapointed, you get a fasion forward shirt AND support the club. 2 birds, 1 stone. Ed Hardy got nothing on this! lol
Bump....... I will have shirts, stickers AND mnsoc club cards at the Monticello meet Thursday and at Firestone this Friday. Pm me to make sure I have your size!
