CHASKA FTW Gridlock me and my roomate are going out with his bugeye and my SVX if you care to join us in our fun let me know
hey its snowing pretty good, but i was wonder if anyone knew where to get snow tire this late tonight?
bump for lots of snow. It's no longer the first opportunity of this year to go get involved in some shenananan .... er .... fun driving experiences. It is slippery out there, though - I was cycling ABS a LOT on the way home from work.
Yeah, what has happened is that the salt put down at rushhour mel;ted teh snow and that water has now refrozen into a sheet of ice under the snow. Be careful out there (at tell MNDOT tro start using sand instead)
:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: i read the other snow thread

A Winter Storm Watch Remains In Effect From Saturday Morning Through Sunday Afternoon. A Strong Low Pressure System Will Enter Western Minnesota On Saturday And Reach Central Wisconsin By Sunday. Accumulating Snow Will Accompany The Low Pressure System With Amounts Possibly Exceeding Six Inches By Sunday Night For Central And East Central Minnesota And West Central Wisconsin...including The Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. In Addition To The Snow...strong Northwest Winds Will Develop Saturday Night And Continue On Sunday Causing Considerable Blowing And Drifting Snow. Another Round Of Bitterly Cold Air And Dangerous Wind Chills Is Expected To Arrive Later Sunday. A Winter Storm Watch Means There Is A Potential For Significant Snow...sleet...or Ice Accumulations That May Impact Travel. Continue To Monitor The Latest Forecasts.
Last I heard we were supposed to get about 2-3 inches over last night and have it continue on throughout this afternoon... I woke up and everything looked the same!
The plow went by sometime last night, the first time it's been by in over a week, and I couldn't really tell. And that's sad, because I live on the outside of a curve, so all the snow gets dumped in front of the driveway.
Still snowing in Woodbury. I think the plows finally came through about 5 minutes ago. All the people ice fishing were giving me the stink-eye when I was out on the lake today. I think I put 2 miles of spin on the car today...all in order to test my winter tires out..officer.
:biggrin:I'll be the first to post whore this one..... ... WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 PM CST FRIDAY... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TWIN CITIES/CHANHASSEN HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 PM CST FRIDAY. SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS WESTERN MINNESOTA THIS EVENING... AND SPREAD EASTWARD ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA OVERNIGHT. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES WILL BE COMMON ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA BY FRIDAY EVENING... WHICH INCLUDES LOCATIONS ALONG AND SOUTH OF A LITTLE FALLS TO NORTHERN TWIN CITIES LINE. SNOW WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE DAY ON FRIDAY... AND GRADUALLY TAPER OFF ON FRIDAY EVENING. NORTHWEST WINDS WILL BECOME GUSTY IN THE WAKE OF THE SNOWFALL ON FRIDAY NIGHT... WHICH COULD RESULT IN AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES... AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
The voice in my head automatically snapped into that male "computer voice" that you hear on wide band that sounds like a speek and spell:biggrin:
 kinda funny. i heard the same voice and message this morning on my FRS when I clicked on the NOAA weather report....
aweeesome!!! lol each time i play around though i prey my wheel bearing doesn't go out.... seriously need to make my way over to upull
yeah, and I figured out that my other FRS radios that i told you broke.....No, just the battery connections....they work as well. :hsugh: so now i have 4
I'll be visiting to see if that hitch fits your car tomorrow. Got her nice and patched up. You have two tow hooks in back, right?
that's a bummer man. I have the option of taking the back roads from ep to edina and there's some sexy corners along the way:yumyum: man i hope it snows!!!!
haha, but we all know that snow means they all stay next to each other, ride their brakes and go 20 under the posted speed limit.
