Most Online at Once

Why not everyone set a couple of hour time frame to all log on and lets see how big a number we can get to up the most online at once count?!?!?!

Just a fun thought

 

yeah 24 isnt enough, i say tommorow night at 8 pm

 

so sunday at 8 o clock huh?

 

people need to clock on and stay online for a couple of hours so we can max it

 

and the reason being?

everytime I hit refresh the count is lower.. hmmm stop me from hitting refresh I guess...


one of my paintball forums I am on regularly always has over 1500 on at one time... sweet when we ever get that big.. ha haa

 

at the moment they are 2420 active online users.. most ever was 3682

 

yeah but how many years have they been on the int4rn3t

 

I am not comparing.. they also have over 18,191,000 posts and 219,171 members.. so it isnt even comparable.. just syaing how it would be sweet to get people online more often...


anyways this is looking like a typical mnsubaru gathering... I am gonna stay signed in but am going upstairs to watch tv for a while... maybe another time we can do it... successfully...

I just find it hard that we have over 700 members and only 10 online with an organised fun attempt like this... no more crap to me fo rnot driving up to firestone to freeze my arse off in winter when people cant even sit at a computer in the warmth long enough to log in and walk away.. ha ha

 

well there ya go... it didnt happen.. oh well experiment failed... maybe I should start a flame another user thread at such and such a time and see how many people can flame in like a 5min period... ha ha

somehow I dont see that really affecting anything... I mean look at the number of people that viewed the topic....

 

It could have something to do with the superbowl... a lot of people head out to bars because they have specials and free appetizers (at least the local bars here do).

 

that's not the number of different people that viewed it, but the number of times anyone viewed it. and I know I was refreshing and clicking it every minute or 2 there for a while.....

 

so was I but I wasnt refreshing ot on that window but on the main forum window cause that is where the number onine is.. you cant see that inside the topics... so unless you refreshed like 200 times last night then there was a lot of people who looked at it...

anyways on the giving more time.. I made the suggestion, someone else said last night.. I was putting the thought out to see if people would be interested so then we could set a nigth a week or so out... but last night was unnofficially the night I guess... ??? not my doing..
