Anyone feel like helping me out? I have to get this done and soon, Like today. I'd probably just do it myself if I could find a t70 torque.... Found 'em online but that a couple days more to wait. I got the oil/s.
change the tranny fluid? it's simple...just do what the dude above me says..no special socket needed.
uhh....ok then i'm not sure anymore....i have a 00 and that's how i do it...i'm not sure if they changed the style or not....look under the tranny and look for a 1/2 inch bolt. if its' not there..then they probably changed it.
I seem to remember hearing about subaru changing to a different drain plug because of problems with quicklubes draining the trans oil instead of the engine oil. I could be crazy, either way, I needed nothing special to change out my 04. I'd just crawl under there and see what plug is there.
some of the newer subies uses the t70 torq bit (looks like a star) i couldn't find one and used a t60 and got it to pop off
Alright I'll have to crawl under there thanks guys, I know I got a t60 laying around somewhere. I mean I can find the 70s online, but that will take some time to actually get it.
yup, that was my problem too, i couldn't find the t70 around at stores, but on the internet, but I got my t60 to work
Don't believe everything you read. Like I said earlier, I used a 1/2" breaker bar with no attachment/socket on my drain plug for my 2004 wrx.
