Today i went to my local mudhole, only to find that it was dry So i met up with some friends and headed out to watertown. my friends were in dodge ram pick up. it was piped, raised, ect... we all piled in and headed up the first hill. relatively steep he need 4 low to make it up. then it was just bumps and mud on top. he challanged me to go up the hill in my scooby. so i did. i got like a 10 foot run and flew up the hill. no problems at all. then i turned around on top. after almost turning the 360 i was going over an embankment. just a big bump that was in my way. half way over i bottomed out and started spinning the rear wheels. but the front grabbed and pulled me over (w00t AWD) upon later inspection of the car. i dented the floor panel in the back drivers side. it raised up a good 1.5 inches. fun fun fun. no pics forgot i had the camera in the car.
Hey Martin, here's that little road that Brad found out towards Delano that I was telling you about! As you turn on to it, there's a sign that says "Minimum Maintence Road, Enter At Your Own Risk" Speed limit: 30, with some of those potholes, you'd lose a wheel at anything over 15! It's called Lake Rebecca Road E, it's just West of the Intersection of County Roads 11 & 92
I too headed out to that watertown location today! Great stuff, My GL got over some stuff that ram couldn't. THAT was great. Martin, I went through that puddle in the middle up there, got through it no problem, but it swamped the poor car, it died and we had to let it sit and dry out for about 10 minutes before it would even fire again!

Well, I played around on the trails at a friends property here in good ol' Maple Plain, here are a few pics, and there are more to come. its good to be back. i just returned form a week long camp, and today me chux, and a couple friends tom (jeep) and tom (camera) went out to watertown for some mud hole fun. chux's car got nice and brown and refused to start for a while. the jeep tore it up w/ windows down (lol funny aftermath). i barely went into the mud, it was a couple feet deep in the middle, and i dont have ground clearance compared to chux. tom (camera) caught it all on digital video for viewing pleasure. at one point i was wiping throuhg the mud, fairly fast, and was going right for him. so i hit the brakes and ABS kicked in. it was so funny cause it didnt look like i was stopping and ihad the abs noise going on. i really scared him. maybe if we find ahost me and chux can get some videos up. On a lighter note i have a friend with an 02 WRX white, i must convince him to come with next time.
Thanksgiving weekend!!! It's the next time I'll be in town, so as long as things aren't frozen completey solid, let's plan on it
