 I can not get the damn stock endlinks off the rear of my car. I've cranked like crazy on them, soaked in wd40, heated them up with a torch and still nothing. I went at them for 2 and a half hours! WTF!?

When I did my 04 they came off really easy, I didn't even put the car up on jacks.

year and model? usually they have an allen in the end of the stud. maybe that helps. if you have a tourch you could cut them off.

My front endlinks had an allen but the rears didn't. I just eased the rubber boot up to expose the squared off washer. Put a 14mm on the squared off washer and spun the bolt out with another 14mm. Some people have luck with vise grips towards the top of the rubber boot if they can't get to the squared washer.

05 Sti. I'll try the vice grips because I don't see a square washer.

It's under the rubber boot. Try pulling it back or feeling for it towards the top (side nearest the bolt).

jackstands or ramps? might make a difference if its under load or not. I ususally only mess with swaybars when the suspension is compressed and on ramps.
