as per request, here it is.

Its got some bugs, but i'm happy with it.

    mods:
    maf translator
    3"gm maf
    short ram
    hard uicp
turbo xs atmospheric bov(set up to sound like a hqssv)
    megan 3" up/down pipe
    3" turboback apexi n1
    ported manifold
    act 2600 and greddy flywheel
    2" drop
    lowering shocks
    NGK cold plugs, msd wires

    the bad:
    pass fender dented in
bumper holes stripped on fenders, so taped up:laugh:
still in tuning process (massive retarding, phantom knock)

    future and in progress:
    evoIII 16g and manifold
    225lhp pump, 750 inj
    dsmlink
2gb(97-99) front end conversion in progress
    fmic(piping already had)

Its fun to drive, I can smoke 90% of locals, and I can hang with a mildly modded STI.

its faster than what I need, and its really just a whole new world compared to:
    ****ty and rusted cherokees
    89 convertible auto mustangs
    slowerthandogpiss rs's with quarter damage..

no matter how fast or cool looking i will make it, nothing will fill the void a departure with a gc leaves you with.

nope, shes not a stunner by any means.
once the conversion is done, and I can afford $1100 of paint material, it will look better.

from day 1 of owning my rs, I had the worst experience I can handle for a while.

    week 1- blown tranny.
month 2- blown tire, and had to have it fixed at walmart.
they drifted with it and **** on bare cement, blew up my tie rod and loosened the steering up.
month 4- coming home and turning a blind corner, saw 4 deer, swerved and hit a snowbank to avoid them. ruined my rear quarter, messed up an intermediate shaft in the rear. I just traded a friend(Who knows nothing about these cars) for his dsm.

I regret the trading around every sharp corner, driving in slow traffic and when it rains or snows. I am planning on buying a 4 door gc in july for a project car. But that all depends on if or what I decide to do to this car.

i used to own a 92 eclipse...back in the day. Archer Bros racing in Duluth really helped me out, the at least used to be dsm rockstars. I actually loved that car and it drove very nice. :yumyum:

They still are. They actually helped me with nissan problems too. Nothing like going to pick up my car and having to walk around a couple dozen vipers on the way.

Nice car, hopefully you didn't expect too many positive comments out of this group ;) My bro had a 95 talon tsi and then a nicely built 93 talon tsi so i know some dsm guys through him. There are handfuls of fast dsm cars around that would hand most of the naysayers in this thread their asses so to each his own I guess. I'm assuming you already know of dsmstyle.com

damn a 12.9, that has to be fun to drive, ask pra4sno about his old dsm, he had a talon with like a $5k dollar hardcore 5spd tranny, it was nuts...to jakeachy's point they are fun to drive, I guess I am just upset because mine caused me so many problmes, but i guess back then I thought a manual boost controller from ebay was the best!...ohh and voltmeter gauge FTL!

seroiusly though all fake hating aside, I bet its a ton of fun, and it will look tits once you paint it!

I love the old high-school mentality of benchracing.
-No one will believe it until they see it. Make all the claims you want, you need witnesses or documentation to back up your claim.
-Driver ability and competence plays a huge role in skreet racorz. I've seen cars with double the power of my old stock whips fall flat on their face. Car ability is always trumped by driver disability.
-Pull a slip of your own 1/4-mile time before getting too cocky. The car might be able to pull that time, but can you?

    -Also,

I'm not trying to beat up on him, and I'm not doubting him.

I am, by nature, skeptical though. If I don't see convincing proof, I'm not going to buy it just yet.

Also, I've been just itching to use that JPEG, I kind of had to make the opportunity to use it.

I like making cheap fast cars, thus i own domestic v8 mobiles, but they are cheap when they break, and can only be a couple of different things. oh and the "not welcome" pic, freaking rules, i am posting that everywhere now
