When the car is just idleing and i go to put it into first gear it will grind in from time to time, ive noticed that the quicker i try to get it into first its more likely it is to grind. anyone have any opinion as to what could be causing this? cas is a 03 wrx 70k on it. and it doesn't grind into any other gear just first.
Change the trans fluid. Make sure no synthetic lube, and do NOT do Scotty's Coctail. That will kill the synchros even faster.
