Thought I share some pics since Foresters lacks attention around here. Goals are to run 12's and retain da sleeper look. Excuse the dirty mats. Enjoy.

I don't. Check your eyes or re-adjust your monitor.

    Mods are:
    Cobb AP V2
Vf39 pnp cermacoated thanks to Chimera
    Sti tmic
    Grimmspeed up pipe
    Invidia DP V2
    Sti axleback
    Prosport boost gauge
    Hawks Hp pads

Thanks to (John)WRXSti 02 for the majority of the install, the Forester is running better than it ever had with the td04. Although, I really miss the low end torque. The 39 is fun and all but I think I'm ready to go bigger~maybe this winter. Next on the list is a protune, sways then some brakes because its getting harder too slow this fat wagon now. Btw, which local tuner would have more experience with automatics? I heard they're is some differences to tuning an auto.

I think you are seeing a red y pipe from the intercooler to the turbo. the intake manifold is for sure silver.

They're different, but the ECU mapping is close to the same as an MT. With a good tune, you should be able to get as much or more low end torque with the '39. You'll probably want a 3-port BCS, though.

Anyway, feel free to shoot me a PM with questions if you're interested in a road tune.

Thanks for that info. Yeah, 3-port bcs and injectors are on my to do list too due to my high idc's. Was thinking of setting a layaway for one of them Grimmspeed ones. Is that what you're testing/running? Impressions?

I'm running the AP. You don't tune those right?

Yeah the forester pulls pretty hard. It was very impressive. You should do the brakes after the protune.

    Nice looking forester!
bullwinkle does only tune open source but if you had him tune it with that and ditched the AP you could probable save yourself some dough!

Yup, I don't tune the AP. You'd have to unmarry that and I'd tune using the open-source tools.

Yup, both injectors and a BCS would be good. I'm still running the GSBCS on my car, it's a good unit.
