Hey guys and gals I was just contacting friends and family and I didnt want to forget the Subaru family. My mother Elsa Rezene passed Tuesday morning after a long battle with Cancer. I know some of you had meet her. She was energetic 59. When she was feeling down I would take her for a spin in my Subaru. She loved it. She was so in love with travling when I was a kid she use to take road trips in our Chevy Impala and Nova (we had 2 Novas an SS and a 6cyl) boy that was fun. She was a great driver, only 1 ticket in all her life. She taught me to drive in a Toyota Tercel 4x4. She drove Rigs and delivery trucks as well. Man she was cool! Services are being held today July 15,2004 @ 5:30pm-7:30pm at St.Mary Greek Orthodox Church 3500 Irving In Uptown near the Lake Cal. Afterwards there will be free food and drink at 1935 University in St.Paul Between Snelling and Cretin. All are welcome. I will be accompaning her to her homeland of Asmara, Eritrea next week. Thanks All, El-atzar When Elsa first arrived in this great country: Elsa My mom:

My condolencees to you and your family! No matter who it is, it always makes me sad to hear when an enthusiest like your mom passes. But see, you have shared a wonderful story with us of how she influenced you to be an enthusiest. Now you need to do the same thing with your kids and honor your mothers memory with that.
I'm sorry to hear about that El. wish her the best of luck. she seemed really kool. Even though she wont' be with her physically anymore she'll be there in your heart.....i will try to see if can get work off at the last mintue and come join you. Sorry if I can't make it though.
El, I'm truely sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I send you my deepest condolence and my prayers are with you and your family. Let us know if we can be of any help? I send you a very short Hmong funeral verse that is used at every Traditional Hmong funeral... You mother lived her life up to this point... now you must carry her lagacy on. She will live in your heart and as long as her offspring still mourn and think of her.... her life as a mother has not gone in vain... she will live on, as long as we still remember her name and call on her in this world. If you so ever miss her, you can catch a glimps of her essence by walking around the field she once walked... check for any palm or foot print mark she may have left behind. In this life... that is all that's left of your mother and there is no more.

sorry to hear. I lost my father when i was 18. its hard and you just have to remember the memories and move on.
I am new to the forum, but I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom in February 2004 to a long four year battle from ovarian cancer. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. It is tough, but always keep her memories alive and remember she is always in your heart. You can always talk to her no matter where you are or what you are doing. She will always be your guardian angel looking down at you from heaven smiling and making sure you know she loves you. Take care.
