    Travail,
Welcome to the site and that's a heck of a car but please make sure you are aware of and adhere to the rules of the site regarding street racing/illegal activity/wreckless or careless driving/etc... I have edited your thread and removed your YouTube links. If you have any video of it on a strip I would LOVE to see them.

    Thank you,

You can state a negative opinion, sure, but the deletion was not in regards to a negative opinion.

    OP - nice shiny car!

    Travail,
No problem, man! I just wanted to let you know without a wrist slap.

    Bubba,
I don't give a **** what your opinion is or isn't. You can have a negative opinion in EVERY ONE of your posts for all I care. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. A bit of tact and maturity can get your opinion of dislike across much more efficiently. How would you like it if you joined a forum and someone you don't know posted the same thing about your pics/car/mods?

How about we all stop crapping in this thread?

The motor and tran is out of a 95 camaro with a LT-1 and T-56 6-speed.

Why do you dislike the v8 swap. I know people who had rx7 and then I gave them a ride soon after that they did the V8 swap. I like the rotary but it not a very good motor. There ok if they are NA but when you put a turbo on them they like to blow up. I have had 4 fc ( SE.GXL, and two turbo 2) I put more time in to working on them then driving them when they had the rotary in them and some time's it can be hard to get parts for.

no replacement for displacement, for real.

Rotorys are stupid. The V-8 is used for just in many scenes across the world for serious racing.

And what I'd give for a T-56 in my suby.... damn suby trannys suck except the sti 6-speed.... but the T-56, now that is reliable.

Isaac, you get that thing tuned yet?

Also, if you get another RX-7 with a V8 in it, it better have a turbo :rockwoot:

To me the whole point of having a FC is the uniqueness of the rotary... If u build them right u can boost them and still be reliable... I was a huge FC fan, a few friends had some pretty modded ones, the only reason why I bought a honda, was i needed a car year round when I was in college, and got into working on them, the subaru is just a year round beater (the hondas worked better than a fc in the winter but still sucked compared to the scoob, lol)... I will own one someday when I can afford 3 project cars, and it WILL most definately stay a turbo'd rotary... Oh, and they arn't hard at all to find parts for, and they are fairly inexpensive too, if u know where to look, or the right ppl...

I know you can get parts at some parts store. But it you need a rear end or a transmission for a turbo 2 and even if you need some interior parts there not cheap. That's why most people who have one that runs more then likely they have a parts car or two. I have NEVER SEEN a build rotary with 100k miles on it. They just don't last long. They can be fun to own but they can be a pain in the ass to.
