You know just about everyone has a couple cars. My Subaru is a daily driver, but I plan to mod it some. My other project is a 1974 BMW. Total tear down was done. It's about 2 years in the making now.

My dad bought a 1972 2002 brand new. It was my first inkling that cars could be fun.

NItro, my buddy had a GTZ in highschool, bone stock it tore my slightly modded 5.0 camaro a new asshole. Then it blew up, because it was a quad 4, but while it ran it really ripped. I'm honestly a huge beretta fan, ive always been a fan of the style.

That's funny... The Beretta was designed with the female consumer in mind. Hmm...

I had a 90 Beretta GTZ in high school, another guy had a GT with the 3.1. He couldn't figure out why my 2.3 was faster! Then the head cracked on the QUAD4!

There's a couple turbo Berettas out there. The guy helping with the build on my car has a turbo Z26 as well but a V6 auto. There's also turbo GTZ in PA that's well known in the Beretta world.

We're a family of them actually. My wife also has one. It's a 96 Z26 with a 3.5 swap from an 05 G6. Still needs tuning but has tons of torque. She's the reason I'm into these cars, she's had her car since before we met. I've been through a couple.

I heard there was a BMW like this for sale on craigslist. Just an FYI. It is fun. The 510s are just as cool. There is a guy in town with a sick red one with engine swap and all. Super nice.

The dictionary defines lesbian as female homosexual. Which I am not. But I bought a Subaru. Either way, we are way of subject! So let's please end this skew here.

I want to know what other projects people have. Street, track, off-road. Doesn't matter. Maybe it only has two wheels. Those are fun too. I used to own a couple different motorcylces. And you know what, the project doesn't even have to be full size. Maybe someone has a bad ass RC. Radio Control cars and helicopters are lots of fun. At this point, my BMW is my only other project. However, I do have a Las Vegas puzzle that I have been meaing to put together. LOL. My wife and I got married in Vegas, so it was kind of sentimental.

    Let's see more projects!

My wife's first car was a chevy beretta years ago. She got a ticket coming home from school in ND doing 111 mph. Nobody believed it, but she had the ticket.

Hey, what's up! Been awhile. Small world, right?! Winter sucks because now we can't hang out there. I suppose we could, but it would be cold. I'm sure we'll see each other around.

My future project is going to be a 91 Jeep Renegade. My mom bought it and recently gave it to me. It's in need of some help...

    -frame repair (rust)
    -body repair (rust)
***probably just gonna get a donor jeep for the tub and frame
-swap interior since this one is mint
    -35" MTZ's
    -5.7L Hemi (?)
-try and fit two benches in the back like a Landrover Defender

    That's the goal...

That will be an awesome project. Hopefully you can salvage the best parts of the 'renegade'. I saw a 5.7 Hemi in a newer Wrangler at Car Craft Summer Nationals this year. It looked good in there. Good luck with your future project.

Worked om the Beretta this past weekend. My buddy Dustin with turbo V6 Z26 came over to the shop and finished up the manifold while I hacked up the bumper beams. We also fabbed up a nice 3" turboback/side exit exhaust.

I like that BMW, a lot.

I have the Datsun roadster that's made no real progress other than becoming one body again. I'm racing Jason for the slowest build title.

Yes, my buddy Dustin is doing all of the welding at his work. I'm a function over form kinda guy, I don't care what it looks like as long as it holds and works. So yes gas but just tacked together at the shop then brought to a different place and welded up solid.

Sell that SR, idioits pay tons for those piles, You could get an aluminum 6.0 LS for under 1k, have more power N/A and 4 times the torque, THEN you can turbo THAT.

No. And you'll stop that right now. Remember, 1900lbs soaking wet. And alot of that weight is over the front, it's tail happy already, I don't think I want super torque V8 action going on in that situation.

No, I've fought with this motor and with this car enough that I'm not switching gears and going a different powerplant route.
