Blitz Nur spec axle back! (new for me) came off a 04 sti. it fits mine i just need to do work. now im gonna be a little more quiet but look a lot better from the back no one probably cares but i had to post
ive herd it on the sti a million times its a lot quieter than now. i can hear my idle from inside my house and i had my car in the street and infront of my neighbor. any bit of rev shakes a house. this will keep the nice sound keep it loud just not TOO loud
Nice, that's the other one I really wanted. I might have to share pictues of my apex gt-spec when it arrives in a couple days
that has to be the first time anyone has said that about the blitz nur spec. It is ungodly loud, barely any better than no muffler at all.
Thanks to Skarecrow here is a vid from one of the snow mayhem nights....throughout the entire video, you can hear my exhaust over every other car...start by bobbing your head to the wub wub wub of my car (the first in line) and then listen to the rest of the video, you can hear it all the way through.
yeah..i like the sound of my exhuast when parked in a parking lot and i can still hear it idle and i'm standing at the entrance of the store...and then i always say to my girlfriend 'does she hear that sexy low rumble...' and i have blitz nur spec r with perrin dp and up...
it will be quieter than no muffler and when my neighboors tell me im too loud i can point and say, well it has an exhaust so its just gonna be like that. if i dont have anything to show for my "attempt to be nice and quiet" then they will start talking to the city. happened to me once already. and on the topic of selling my old axle back. send me a PM.
lol you can put a coffee can on the end and tell your neighbors its an exhaust. I'm just saying if you have your neighbors in mind, this is not the greatest exhaust. if they're already talking to the city i dobt you are going to point to that and say... "well it has an exhaust." its like you are lowering the noise by the most minimal level possible, which isn't going to make your neighbors happy if they aren't already.
no no no i really dont care about them THAT much. i simply need to show that i have a full exhaust and they will not bother with me. its all good in my hood. i am lowering the noise. it will make a difference. ive herd this axleback and next to my car. i drown out anything im near. the muffler will take away some of its intensity
hey my car isnt exactly quiet, I have a cobb catless TBE on my car, but I don't get any complaints from the neighbors. The only thing that makes me say this is the nur spec is one of the only exhausts i have ever heard on a car I have driven that made me think "I really don't think I could live with this"
i love noise! i just want to stay as loud as i can but not get the cops called. i can live with open DP. it just wouldnt do too well with the city.
well i have dealt with pissed off neighbors and its not that fun. although, the Nur Spec sounds heavenly
what i like to hear! i might try and get it to fit tomorrow before work. more pics when i can get it to fit. i havent seen one of these on a GC in person. will probably look fatty!
