Ok so I had purchased a short shifter kit from kart boy(cool I know right). There is a problem its for a 1997-2001 impreza, while I own a 1996 impreza. The shift linkage is wrong and I don't feel like sending it back(I already installed the bushings). So what are my options, I was thinking about trying to fit a linkage from a newer impreza, would that work? Any suggestions would be super cool.

    Thanks in advance

Or just email him. His attitude towards helping out customers is truly amazing. Great guy. I love my short shifter and silver knuckleball. They just feel sooooooo right. I'd better stop now before this starts to sound any more pervy.

Well the reason I am unsure if can return it is because I bought it as a package deal so I am unsure how much the will refund me, and if the cost of the refund is gonna be less then getting a new shift linkage, I would like to swap it out. And to answer your question erik I am unsure when tim and I will be doing this, I think some help from some others would be good. I have never done this is there a write up on this?
