I am trying to figure out if my dog pees in the house. I personally dont smell anything but my gf says it smells like pee in the house. But we are both not sure if the dog does it in the house when we are gone and at night. So i am trying to figure out how to spy in her. I have a webcam that i could use but i dont have a software. What do you guys think would be the best way to figure this out?

Please no comments about eating the dog or some other crap.

    Thanks.

Blacklight. Pee will show up as a green/lighter blue color on the carpet. It'll stick out like a sore thumb.

Yeah, I know there is that big menards right down the street from me. 2 stories, lots of stuff.

I did this once, when I was very young. My neighbors were watching me while my parents were at some all night thing, back when I was a little guy, and when they came to get me in the middle of the night, I was sleep walking into the wall apparently, with the beast whipped out, ready to pee on their walls. To this day, I am not sure if they saw me...but like 16 years later, I haven't heard a thing about it.

found web cam software for the laptop. It is motion activated and takes a picture every time it senses motion. The trial is only for an hour of recording tho. So we'll see how it works.

if the dog was taking a leak on your carpet you would see it on the white. our white carpet got stains from my dog.

your place might be stinking from mold or something. thats even worse than dog pee because its dangerous to your health. but maybe your girlfriend has a really crazy nose

I found out something hillarious when I turned about 15. Apparently the reason this guy was smiling all the time is because he had a stroke. I think that is an absolutely phenomenal outcome from such a bad situation.

    This guy for the win.

Type of dog? If at full size it can be thrown like a football it is not a dog. It is a squirrel. I have a .22 for squirrels. Have it stuffed = no pee.

AGREED.... you should crate train your dog. it is very effective and the dog will have a crate to sleep in that it can call home,

Would you let a hampster run around your home while your at work? NO... if your dog has a out door Kennel run that would be a good option as well. but I say you should go to petsmart, get the correct sized CRATE, and train your dog to sleep in his or her crate every night, next to your bed.

IGNOR your dog if it whines, a whining dog is never present. Treat your dog as if it is not there if continues to put up a fuss, and when it stops fussing, reward it with a treat through the kennel. continue this.

also feed you dog in its kennel, when it comes time to feed your dog put the dog food in the kennel. when your dog goes in the kennel, let it know it is a "good boy" or how ever the hell you say that in Russian.

yes, you can get blacklights at menards, for pretty cheap. I think you can also get them at target and walmart. Your best bet is to get one of the bulb ones - that you can put into a lamp or something. I have about 4 blacklights - and they are the long fluorescent ones, a bit more expensive, but there you go. After you're done with the pee search, you can just use them in the house :D

The dog could be peeing on your clothes, instead of the floor ... or on the furniture. Might be best to just clean it all, and get that stuff you can put on the floor and vacuum with and it makes it smell better (I donno what it's called, it's powder and made by lysol or something)
