exedy clutch and exedy racing fly wheel 14.3 lbs, includes pilot bearing, release bearing, and alignment tool, 479.00 plus 23.00 s/h, from ebay. what you guys think? or should i get a f1 atage 1 racing clutch, heavy duty pressure plate andfull face organic street disc?
Where I've usually heard of crank sensor codes is in conjunction with a lightweight pulley set. However, I wouldn't get much below that weight on a street driven car is the driveability becomes an issue in regular stop and go traffic, driving around town, etc.
Not too hard, but it will take at least 4 hours unless you have a lift. Probably more if you haven't done it before. With a 14.3 lb flywheel you will probably be clear of any misfire codes, if you get any lighter than that you will start to see them. I have an 11 lb flywheel, and I have those codes almost permanently.
I have the lightweight 11lb flywheel. It threw up misfire codes in all cylinders until I reflashed to stage 2.
ACT StreetLite FW is just PERFECT for street and those who don't want the revs to drop quick. It weighs 13.9lbs. Just perfect!!!
