new member- saying hi

    hi all-

    I picked up a 2002 wrx two weeks ago to use as a daily driver/winter ride. The previous owner had already added a cf hood, blitz blow off valve, a turbo timer, skunk2 coilovers, motegi 18s and a few other things. He had also purchased a vf22 and sti pinks.

    last weekend we battled with the car for a while and it is as follows-

    the above stuff
    vf22
    sti pinks
    255 lph walbro
    full 3" exhaust with ebay up pipe and downpipe
    access port (planning on taking it to get tuned this tuesday)

    it also has the start of a small/light stereo system in it

    diamond audio hexes
    jvc dvd/cd single din hu
    7" widescreen static mount in stock hu location
    mtx 564 amplifier


    i look forward to learning more about my new car and meeting some others on the forum

    With a VF22 you might want to go a little larger than pinks. They barely flow enough for a VF34. 650cc would be ideal.

    yes, i still have the skunk2s on the car

    I went up last night and replaced the front 02 sensor on the car and let it idle a bit. The car is going in to DB tomorrow to get tuned (11 am appointment). The pink injectors should be enough for me because we don't plan on tuning it terribly aggressively. I would not have purchased the vf22 on my own, but since i had it- i figured i may as well make it work as well as possible for my needs.

    I'll get some more pics of the C43 up when i can (it has a pretty cool stereo in it- for those who care about that stuff... lots of image dynamics, some stereo integrity, that kind of stuff)

    I will also definitely post up more about the wrx after i get teh power numbers etc. tomorrow.

    ooh- and i also have an air bagged ford explorer with tons of body mods which some people may be interested in as well.
