TMIC Y-PIPE for the inner cooler
JDM Japan spec Strut Tower Bar F+R
    REINFORCE RADIATOR HOSES

just for some quick bolt ons....

    thoughts? ideas for more?

((getting a turbo down as well... but no idea what I should be looking at for dyno proven results without being too ... abnoxious.. if you get my drift. Pretty / functional is what i'm after))

none of that stuff makes the car any faster or turn any better. Maybe the y pipe might give you 1 hp for $100. The strut tower braces are like throwing money down a hole.

can this be detected by subaru and void warentee?
and how well mapped is it?

    ((cons / pros from experiance))

there is a big forum called nasioc that has hundreds of thousands of posts about the accessport, its pros and cons on it, as well as an entire subforum specifically devoted to the AP. Cobb's website has an accessport FAQ that specificaly addresses the subaru warranty issue.

    All the answers are there.

Are you talking about getting a downpipe? The best way to get one of those is to wait until somebody on this forum decides to sell theirs. COBB, TurboXS, Invidia, Crucial Racing and many others make ones that fit well. Lots of other companies make ones that fit badly.

Getting your car reflashed via a Cobb AccessPort is probably the first thing you should do to get more power. A downpipe is probably the second.

Just go spend a little time reading stuff on NASIOC.

For an STI, I would invest in a cobb accessport plus a full tbe. Made a huge difference on my car. You can buy that stuff but I would go with these items first. You will thank us later when you feel the extra powa!!!

yeah been rumors for quite some time. Nobody knows when it is coming out. Basically it should look like the AP for the Evo that is forthcoming, which is kinda like an ipod style mp3 player. It has a color screen and supposedly will tranfer base maps faster and one AP will work with any subaru.

This is all speculation, some features more likely than others. supposed to support anti-lag, flat foot shifting and speed density too, at least according to jorge.

Just went to Cobb's website because i found a good deal on an AP for a 2002 WRX, then i realised, they say they are discontinued. Currently Cobb lists all models of the AP on their website as discontinued. Maybe this next gen is closer then we think?
