Hey all, Let me know if you can make the event. The Dirty Jack O' Lantern Rally Cross is on!!! Gear up for the last Rally Cross event of the year. The venue has changed, it will not be at Krampert's Pit in New Richmond, as earlier posted, it will now be held in Afton, Minnesota, about 2 miles south of I-94 and 2 miles west of the St. Croix River. The new course is a 10 acre field that had soy beans growing in it and was harvested in early October. We should be able to lay out a pretty reasonable course. If we rut unto the course, the field is big enough that we should be able to just change the course, instead of waiting to groom the course between runs like last month at the pit. We are still hopeful that we can expand Kramperts pit into a larger venue, but that will have to wait until next year. The rain really took a toll on the pit, and rather than be at the mercy of additional rain and potential cancellation, I obtained access to this month's venue. Directions to the Dirty Jack O' Lantern event are as follows: I-94 to exit 253 (Manning, Minnesota 95 South) then South 1 block to Frontage road (Hudson Road), turn left (east) on Hudson road, go 2.2 miles to Indian Trail South, turn right (south) on Indian Trail South, go 1.7 miles to bottom of hill and turn left onto dirt road. Follow dirt road to Y, turn right at Y, field is on left. Tentative Schedule: Date: Sunday, October 30, 2005 First timed runs: Noon Registration Start: 9:30 (assuming that we have help) Registration close: 11:00 Tech inspection: 10:00 - 11:15 Driver Meeting: 11:30 Last run will be about 5pm sign up now.. btw i wont be driving but im going to be riding with justin and taking pictures
i might be up for going. not for driving, but for taking pics. i can get some video n my camers too.(only 4.5 min though :-()

We could meet at the SuperAmerica on Woodbury Drive in Woodbury. 94 east - south(right) on Woodbury Drive - SA will be on your right about a block up. Maybe meet at 9 30 ish. Who's with me??????
I think I'm going to bring the gf down there on Saturday, try to be at Firestone, and then stay the night at her mom's place only to rally-x all day on SUNDAY!!! SUNDAY!!! SUNDAY!!!
Damnit Kelly, why do you come to the one event I can't make? Looks like you got the info you were asking me for over on rallycabal. Speaking of getting Subarus dirty, I just mounted my winter tires/wheels for the trip up to LSPR. I realized I had never gotten around to cleaning them off after running Advance 1 at Headwaters, so they had like a 1/2" coating of hardened mud all around the insides of the rims. Fun fun.
Guys, I have something to say with deep regret :cry: I'm not going to be able to make it there this sunday. My gf has tons of stuff to do on saturday and wouldn't be able to leave for minneapolis until really late and I got a wicked cold at lspr, so I don't feel like doing anything right now. I know this is true with mnsubaru fashion and I hate to be a stereotype, but it has to be done. I'm sorry :cry: Maybe next time
Awww!!! Come on! I live like 4 hours away! I have also been away from home every weekend of this month so far. My credit card bill is going to be enormous!!! I'm really sorry I can't go, I really want to, but I really need a weekend of rest and relaxation, no more driving... please? :cry:
sorry i can't make this my snows aren't mounted yet (rallyx on azenis'?) and i'm moving on monday/tuesday... plus the karting thing. damnit. have a blast though! I want to get into rallyx, but it'll have to wait 'til next season. get sidewayz for me

yup u do it at the booth when u get there, it takes about 10 minutes and inspections take about 5 a piece
i probbaly wont make it out there to spectate. i have a cold, and it sucks. i wanna see pics/vids of the subie tearing it up!
So are there some real directions or did I just miss them? Maybe I will be Dream's biotch for once! Justin, I would go amd get a couple of rolls of blue 3M painters tape and tape off your quarter pannel lips and your rockers to prevent rock chips.
Hey guys, just wanted to pop over from MNaudi and say what's up! justin and vic, the rallyx ruled, you guys did awesome!!! i was stoked to meet some guys with new and nice cars who were willing to drive them. unlike some other group i chat with online....*cough*audiclub*cough* that event ruled, the site was great. hope to see you guys around! I'm pushin for another event at that venue, maybe this fall. the subies that were there were really nice cars! oh and i give my condolensces to the guy who got the ticket. at least you got it in style.
