Hey, New member, I bought a 2008 AW STI. Car is sitting at stage 2 COBB tune, 91 octane, Invidia DP and Perrin quad tip exhaust. So far I have installed front Rally Armor mud flaps and red Lamin-X to the tails. I came from a 2003 SVT focus ZX5, which oddly enough has the same wheelbase. Looking forward to meeting some members and throwing on the winter tires for some fun this winter. I'd like to know more about any/all ice racing opportunities this winter.
I love the white hatch backs! I really wanted one for myself but the dealership wanted to charge me $1400 to ship it, so I went with a DMG. Tuesday meets are always a good time... check out the Calhoun Meet in the events section.

I assume you don't mean wheel to wheel ice racing. Check the Audi site for ice driving events. It is a really good time. I'm not into the whole hot hatch deal but you seem to be. Great upgrade. http://www.glacierlakesqclub.org
I'll second this. I went to one of the Audi ice events last year and it was the highlight of the winter season. I planned to go to the final event about a month after as well but it was cancelled do to poor ice conditions. I'll be at every one this winter if possible. You'll get to drive on a huge track as well as a skid pad and slalom course. Fun fun fun.
My buddy takes his A4 to a few, which is how I had heard about it. I'm planning the same, to hit up every one. Can't wait.
What is all out there for winter driving events?? GL Quattro hasn't posted anything on this years events and I'm looking for everything I can. Not open to wheel-wheel racing just open driving.
Where is a good place to get a Pro Tune around the cities? I've heard of DB and MAP but who knows Subies the best? I'm basic stage 2 but would like a pro tune next summer.
