FS: NGK spark plugs $8 a set of NGK spark plugs for sale, i bought them and had them in my car for maybe 2 miles (and about 5 min of warm up becuase its so freeken cold out) and my car didnt run well with them, so now i'll pass them on to you! how does 8 bucks for the 4 plugs sound? offers? model BKR5E-11 i can meet at firestone, or at the minnetonka meet that i have yet to ever attend despite living there :hsugh:
Actually the BKR6E is made for the WRX 2.0L turbo. Not sure about what they use in the 2.5L, but I doubt they went one step hotter. Also, the -11 gapping isn't correct and has to be adjusted, and I'm not sure that you want to adjust a tip that far. That is assuming the BKR5E isn't the Iridium model. But I believe the part number ends in "IX" for that.
I have a NGK catalog, that I got at SEMA, (568 pages, lol) the "BKR5E-11" is V-power, STK#6953. looks like it used in NON TURBOS.
phi11s correct about about the stock number and what i have for sale, pry4sno had suggested to me it was for turbo cars. for the record i put the platinum FR5AP-11 (stock 3 5463) in my 2.5rs. and it ran much better with these in it. i got the gap recommendation from NAPA
sorry man! my bad. just for reference though, BKR6E's are V-powers as well, and ARE for the turboed 2 liter.
Maybe NGK is wrong but... a NGK BKR6E-11 Plug is for 2.5 n/a motors from 96-03 2.0L Turbo are a NGK PFR6G Any stock plugs are not V-Powers...
Yes, the PFR6G is the stock platinum plug. If you wanted to run copper, the BKR6E would probably be close.
as long as they go to some one who's car will run them better then mine. is their any reason i would want to go to coper plugs instead of the platinum ones? the stock platinum ones run much better then the ones i pulled out :yumyum:
