no brake lights

2007 sti w/ 3" tbe and bullwinkle tune. when i have the cruise on and i touch the brake pedal the cruise control deactivates so i know the sensor for the pedal works, all the parking lights work, and i checked all the fuses and they seem ok. its still under warranty. if i take it in to wbl subaru tomorrow do you think they will cover it or put up a fuss because of the exhaust/tune?

Its a brakelight switch. Same thing happened to mine. Different switch for the cruise.

They did mine under warranty, took an hour. No problems whatsoever.

 

they said they think it's the wiring and that they cheked the switch, but I guess I'll find out tomorrow

 

yeah turns out it was the sensor
