Yesterday I put the stock head unit back in and it was working fine. I broke the bolt on the positive battery terminal and replaced it. Radio was still working. This morning I turn it on and there's no sound coming from the speakers. The head unit has power and turns on fine. What would cause this or what can I check?

the wire for the speaker may have come loose or came off. off waire could be touching to make it not produce sound

Wouldn't it have to be all 8 wires if no speakers are producing sound? Though I will check this tonight.

    What do you mean?

Not necessarily, as I found at Friday when a single disconnected speaker wire caused all speakers to stop outputting sound. Not a factory Subaru deck, but nonetheless.

I'm not sure what it was but I got it working. I reconnected one of the speakers I suspected might be loose and it works now. Although even with that speaker disconnected, the other 3 speakers played fine. Thanks for the suggestions!
