Hi, my name's Rich and I've been a member here since last May, but I just posted for the first time yesterday. Since I extended an invite to our LegacyGT.com meet this Saturday at BW3 in (Woodbury? Oakdale?), I thought I'd introduce myself.

I live in Minnetonka and drive an '05 Legacy GT Limited. My wife has an '06 Outback 2.5i. My LGT is Atlantic Blue with taupe leather, no spoiler, 5MT, factory short-shifter, and Subaru/Momo knob. It is currently bone stock, but I have a JDM Spec B suspension sitting in my garage that will probably go on when it gets closer to Spring. I will probably get STi pink Spec B springs to have installed with the JDM Spec B Bilstein struts. I also am planning to do a Cobb AP stage 1 flash very soon, probably in the next month or two. I mainly want the stage 1 for the improved drivability I've heard about, and of course, a little bit more power is always nice. However, I don't plan on going beyond stage 1 until I've addressed things like handling and braking first. Even with the Spec B suspension, I plan on keeping the stock wheels and RE92A's on (I know, go easy on me  ) for another year. I'm also thinking about installing the STi tranny mount, but I'm undecided on that one.

My last car was a '98 A4 2.8Q, which had H&R sport springs, Koni shocks, Stebro catback exhaust, and A8 rotors with Porsche Boxster calipers. I was active in the Quattro Club (now Audi Club) for a few years, and am still a member. When I get my LGT tuned somewhere close to the way I want it, I plan to attend a few Audi Club track events to push the LGT closer to its limit, and to show the Audi guys that I got a lighter, more powerful, arguably superior car for $10K less than an A4 would have cost.

    Rich

I gotta pay more attention, I didn't know that LGT.com was having a local gathering. I hadn't seen hardly any new GTs around town in the 4 months I've owned mine. In fact I've only seen two GT sedans and one new 2.5i sedan. Oddly enough I haven't seen any Legacy wagons at all, just Outbacks (which is fine too). Granted if the plant I have in my GT was available in the Outback sedan I would have gone with that just because of the sexy ground clearance 8)

    Anyway, welcome!
