If I can get my hands on a digi camera I'll get some pics. I'm modding a gen 1 STi body to better fit my evo.

Current mods: RS suspension kit, RS Ni-MH batteries/charger, RS bearing kit, RS AWD kit, PNRacing SpeedyNM motor (wow! compared to stage 2 motor), RS stage 2 motor and gear kit, new servo and gears.
I also modded the stage 2 motor giving it more advanced timing and a water dip break-in. still nothing compared to the speedyNM.
I've lightened the chassis and body by removing unneccasary panels/parts and screws. I'm in desparate need of new wheels and lugs (nylon ones are shredded). tires keep falling off and are getting worn, I'm looking at aluminum chassis/suspension parts and wheels here: http://www.cjshobbies.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=147

you need wheels and lugs? which ones? I've got tons of extra nylon ones, and the stock wheels that came on both cars, though one of the hummer ones has been experimentally modified, with no results (no better, no worse)

how's the speedy nm motor for torque? I need more lo end torque for my hummer, it just can't crawl for ****....I've ordered a few things that may help....

I was looking to by some nylon locking lugs - preferably black or blue. the stock wheels i have are ok, i'm just worried that i'll break one off or round out the lug hole.
the speedynm motor is all about torque! it's designed for the kyosho mini-z so i had to wire it in reverse. no big deal as there is no adv/retarded timing on the armature. It's a ball bearing can and has neo-magnets the strongest you can get. that's where all the torque comes from. it also has a higher number of winds (40ish) so its built more for torque than high speed. It's still way faster than RS stage2 and accelorates my evo twice as fast. You can run it on stock FETs (evo for sure, not sure about gen1). you would not be dissappointed! here's where i got mine: http://www.rckenon.com/public_html/shop2/catalog/index.php?cPath=62_71

    Good luck!

I'm very happy with my skyline performance wise. it could be faster, but I rarely run it wide open anyway, I just don't have the space. The hummer, on the other hand, is getting alot better, but just doesn't have the torque to pull over much. but I've ordered a ball bearing case and really strong magnets to help with that.
