    Hey i thought it was just a funny article from jalopnik and i heard of something similar happening on here. I do not know Chet beyond the time i bought parts from him and didnt intend it to be a bashing thread. Its a shame it got locked because of it.

    agreed, just pointing out the similarity... I thought it was a funny article too. If it was locked bc of bashing (which I didn't construe any of the replys as), and more specifically bc of my picture, I'll take it down and apologize.

    For future reference tho, threads like this one and the gas nozzle one would be better placed in off-topic.

    personally it may not be the religion itself thats causing the people to be crazies..but you got those certain people that decide HEY NO GOd SHOULD BE THIS WAY and get super strict about it and press it on other peoples beliefs thats when i have a problem..and not to generalize but it seems that its ALWAYS CHRISTIANS that are spreading the "word" of god...and it gets kind of old getting approached at MOA constantly saying "SAY GOD SACRIFICED HIMSELF FOR YOU AND YOU WILL BE SAVED" im ready to punch their teeth into their throat and shove a bible up their ass.


    however that was OT hahahahaha this guys nuts

    Speaking as a man of faith, I can reinforce the notion that there are a lot of loonies out there.

    The fact is, crazy people are everywhere, regardless of race/creed/faith/gender/etc.

    Religion is given a lot of blame because it inspires people. Anything that inspires someone who is already crazy will act with fervor and zeal and you will KNOW what is inspiring such fervor whether you want to or not.

    Kinda like cars. Look at what some of the people are doing to their cars on this site. Crazy people that are inspired by gasoline. Which is awesome, but still crazy.

    I don't think the crazy we have regarding our cars compares very well to the crazy that results in in people smashing into others at 100mph because they think god told them to do it.

    I didn't hear voices in my head telling me to swap my tranny. Though, now that I think about - I'm betting a lot of the people I know (family, coworkers, etc.) thought I was *almost* as crazy. lol
