There's this annoying fly in my house . Just one, and it's been buzzing around like crazy, just zooming by really fast.
I've been chasing it around the house for about 20 minutes with a fly swatter, and FINALLY smacked the crap outta that fly.
    Damn that felt good.

Just had to share my excitement :laugh::laugh:

last night I was at my mom's place and she left the window open with a light on, and about a million gnats and moths and other annoying bugs flew in and hovered and stuck to the walls. we sucked many up with a vacuum. if the swatter ever fails, give that a try.

How can you guarantee that sucking them into a vacuum actually kills them??

(my mom said this to me one day when I was young .. around 12 .. and I sucked a wolf spider up in the basement with our shop vac ... I've been scared ever since!)

Because you sprayed Bug Stop(or some other insecticide) into the vacuum before you shut it off ;)

    ^or brakeklean.

seriously. I've sniped wasps out of the air with that stuff and they were dead before they hit the ground.

One of my corporals bought a pellet gun and sits outside of his house at night and shoots roaches that run across the sand by his fence line. He of course never does it without a beer in his hand, and he's suprisingly accurate.

I use a rubber band to kill flys. It's infallible. I guarantee. You just need to be patient until they idle somewhere and then...SHOOT.

3M Brake Cleaner is always fun. Poison them right there and they'll die. But of course you probably don't want to be spraying brake cleaner around the house....going to get HIGH as you're chasing the fly. lolz

I like using Oust! air freshener to kill flies. But that vaccum method is pretty new to me, I'll give it a go next time some critters get in the apt.
