Here is my first car I bought back in 95, 93 escort gt 5 speed.
1.8 bp engine with garrett t3. 550cc injectors with MS as the emu. Still own it.

This is a mazda based engine right? Ever mess with Zetecs or Duratecs? I have a friend building a 1.6 turbo CVH and is putting it in a MK1 fiesta (not festiva). He is planning to use the EECIV from a Merkur XR4Ti and a quarterhorse for tuning.

 

It is a mazda based engine, comes in the escorts 91-96 gt's and also certain mercury's and mazda's. Its a knock off of the gtx/gtr japan bp engines. Everything is compatible and and direct bolt on. Wonderfull 200+ hp to the wheels for dirt cheap. I have very little customizing knowledge of the zetec engines. Owned a zx2 but that was my dd. I have heard more about the fe bp eninge swaps producing 400 hp on stock internals. I was under the assumtion from hear say that the zetec's were not very reliable under boost. You should check out clubprotege.com or feoa.com for more info on the zetec's. They all just scream......
