I just wanted to see if anyone might know what this dealy under my dash is. It has been there since I purchased the car (99 civic DX manual) and I have no idea what it is or does (did). I haven't traced the ribbon cable to anything yet, just curious if anyone might have an idea.
I can't make out the logo to the left of "Professional Series", but apparently there are four of them and they are obviously better than the amateur series.
Maybe that is why it won't work for me and I can't figure it out, i'm not on the professional series level. I thought maybe the logo said "ACII" but nothing similar came up in the googler
This, I pulled a mexi horn out of my jeep comanche with that same panel. look for a big black intercom speaker in your engine bay.
No stancedness for car. That is interesting about the horn controller. I will check for a speaker and find where the ribbon cable leads to, maybe see if it is disconnected. I must figure this out!
that's the controller to disable or enable the bomb the previous owner installed during his years in the drug trade.
I'm guessing it plays La Cucaracha, the General Lee's horn (Dixie?), the Macarena, and the theme from Rocky.
That reminds me, I have that one on the DVR. Might have to watch that this weekend, haven't seen it in years.
