So it popped up last night. Got the code read this morning checked my gas cap its tight, did some searching found the blue T under the intake that's all connected. Checked the ends at the rear charcoal canister there on tight and no cracks. Anyone have a next place to look?

03 wrx stage 2 5spd 182k... stock intake and no smooth/one piece maf to turbo pipe.

I had this issue on my sti but I cant remember for the life of me what the part was called. I know it was at the front of the car and a valve was stuck open. My mpg was terrible and I'd get the code. I wish I was more help with remembering what the part was. The other thing you can try if nothing else works is a new gas cap. I have one that you can have if you need. Can you faintly smell gas outside of the car? I could with mine.

Edit: I found this thread on nasioc.. check the things listed as I believe the purge solenoid was my issue. Evap valve?

Pressure control solenoids are common for a lot of evap codes

are you talking about the Vacuum Control Solenoid or the Canister Vent Valve (prt#42084FA120)?

There was a recall on this for the 02-03 models back in 07 or something. Call subaru and see if your car has already had the recalled parts replaced and go from there.
