Alright so I just recently got into paintballing and bought myself a Spyder from Walmart($159.99 it's electric&co2) & a force feed thingy that holds the paintballs. Now, where is a good place I can play paintball?

Was originally going to buy the Tippman 98 Custom Kit but someone else bought it.

I miss paintballing. I'm hoping to get back into it once we get settled in to our new place. My classic Automag RT has been sitting idle, but not forgotten, for about 3yrs now :(

Did you buy your own mask, too, or just the marker ? Believe me, you'll only play once in a rental mask. Remember, rental masks have been used and abused by hundreds of hairy, fat, sweaty guys. For years.

I was going to use my BB gun mask but that doesn't cover up the whole face. I may go buy one but I need to find a good store. I don't know where Gander Mt. is?

You won't even be allowed on the field if you don't have a "real" paintball mask. You might want to read up a bit on the sport or go with some experienced folks for your first time out. It always helps to have someone there to give you a few pointers.

WHERE'S THAT "EPIC FAIL" PICTURE WHEN YOU NEED IT ?

The only potential for serious injury in this sport, and perhaps even death, is to take a paintball to the eye. A lens in a paintball mask will survive a shotgun blast. Can you say the same for your BB gun mask ?

    Splat tag near Hudson Wisconsin.

I try to go there every other weekend.

September 20th is the Giant Big game...usually over 500 people there.

We all should get together and paintball it up sometime.

it all depends on what kind of paintball you want to get into. i can point you in the right directions regardless of your choices... if you want the mil-sim style of play however, talk to Nate. he likes camping in the woods and shooting 4 times in a day. haha

Air Assault Paintball in Maple Plain is the BEST place to go in the Twin Cities, hands down.

Indoor X-Ball/Speed Ball setup, turf, good prices, knowledgeable staff, they hold events once a month - and they have a sponsored team that compete in the PSP events. A pro from Excessive(pro paintball team) plays there at night with a few friends.

Just thought I'd make a note.

I have a paintball gun that I never use for sale. Brand new last year and used twice. It's a spider with eyes. Has carbon fiber barrel. Single, semi, or auto settings. If anyone is looking for a good gun, PM me for details/pics. Have some accessories as well.

I like my paintball like I like my lovemaking.. patiently working it, then firing off a round or two.. repeat a few times a day...

unlike Curly who sees a flag that looks like a pair of panties drop and he is firing off 100 rounds then blanks in about 5 sec...and its usually over in 6seconds...

I always thought these were pretty cool:

Yes, i realize that on most paintball fields they'd get smoked by other markers, but damned if they wouldn't be fun to shoot.

RAPs are pretty solid, you see a fair amount at woodsball or scenario type of play

My only issue with them is that for what I'd be spending on the replica in many cases I can be getting the real thing. Sure, I can't go out in the woods with it and play but I think that it's a hard thing to spend 700 on a paintball gun when you can spend 700 and get an actual M4. That being said, I would love to have a couple ;)

700 aint nothing for a gun, mine was 1,750 and had to be specially imported one at a time from Denmark

See, that's where I'd choke. I could get one hell of a weapons platform for 1750. We're talking a GOOD M4 variant with a couple of 100 round mags and a very nice optics setup. Still, I can't talk too much. I have over 4k invested in a mountain bike.
