I'm sorry if this is a newbie question, but I was wondering if I am able to paint my RUBBER aero guards... I know aero guards for gc8 have been painted before (not sure if theirs were OEM or not). LMK! If so, is there any different process to DIY paint for rubber?

you could paint them... but rubber flexes... and you would need a heavy flex paint in order to maintain a non-cracking surface. the best thing would be a really light scuff (if you can)

1.)use a really high grit paper (1000 if you can)
2.) light coats of a high flex primer, slowly build it up till the surface is covered... then do a second coat.
3.) color built it, the same way with the color of your choice.
4.) clear.... (up to you, but if it's not a super hard rubber.. it WILL crack)
I would clear it really light... sand 1500 grit, polish - poof

    short answer.. I wouldn't,
you would have to repaint many a time...
