    problem is alot of those plastic parts even and the metal ones could easily be warped from the heat

    Subarus are unibody. the frame is an integral part of the body. try as you might but you will be unable to put a new body on that frame.

    The engine long block might be ok. You would have to dissasemble it to find out. Also the trans and suspension may be ok.
