I can definitely believe Billy choked. He was probably nervous as hell and you know he knows the team and coach lacks confidence in him. I wonder what was going through his head when they decided to go for it on 4th rather than play for a 50+ yard fg towards the end of the 4th quarter. I mean, it's one thing to trust your defense to hold on a turnover on downs, but imagine what that would do to your confidence when your coach decides, of all people, Joe Flaccid has a better shot at carrying the team on 4th and 6 rather than give you a shot at kicking for the tie. Anyway I don't have stake in any of the conference finals teams but have a strong distaste for the Patsy's... especially #12... so I guess that means I'm either cheering for the giants or hoping for #12 to get brutalized.
Heartbreaking loss for my Niners. I was here at Candlestick to watch it, freaking Kyle Williams killed the entire season. Oh well, long flight home tomorrow. Yet another year of looking forward to the draft.
