Bump. Anyone with a g/f or a need of these services want a free hair perm? This is FREE. I am paying for this, for my sister.
No offense to your sister's school but perms are so 80's, nobody gets them anymore. Did you say something about layers? If I let her do my hair the way she needs to in order to test out (minus the perm part) would she do it the way I want it afterwards? I would help a sista' out, I'm not scurred haha.
Perms are good if you have long LONG thick hair (like mine used to be) and you want to make it a bit more curly. Nobody really gets full on ones though, because they basically fry your hair. THOUGH a full head of long curly hair is very sexy. I just got my hair done last week so I'm going to pass on this one, lemme know when she's a bit more advanced and can do highlights and dye jobs.
I'm in! I've been dying to try one, and I do curl my hair once in a while. Can she do a spiral or wave perm? My hair is boring, and I'm broke so let me know!
Thanks for the receptive responses! I'm trying to help a 'sista out, my bio-sister that is , I was going to post something my self, but then decided to let her type everything, she tried to make it look like I was saying it. Anyhow, the info is at the top of the page if you wana go in, she just needs one person, and thats all I can pay for, too! But yah, she is trying to test out, I think she is the top student so far. P.S. The Regency School is always accepting people, just ask for Breanna B. Click here for more details.
LOL after seeing that I changed my mind and want one now too! I was going to actually try going for something short and super curly... like this: http://images.google.com/imgres?img...=121&prev=/images?q=chic+haircuts&gbv=2&hl=en I wonder what kind of perm I would need to achieve something similar and then just grab a little help from the ol' curling iron?
K, I got an appointment to see her tomorrow at 9, booyakasha! why the hell am I talking like Fobia, omg wtf. This is free right?
Oh wow, thanks alot, she will really appreciate it! Yes it is absolutely free, I am going to give her the monies tonight to cover it!
Thank you thank you. They said if it was for the test then it would be a regular perm and not a spiral. At first I thought I wanted the spiral but the lady described it to be more tight than a perm and that sounded scary. Anyhow, as long as I don't like like Michael Jackson it's all good in the hood.
Dam! I missed the boat That's what I get for being indecisive... If she screws up on bee, let me know and I'll be the backup! lol
Bee, Breanna wanted to know how long your hair is and to describe the texture, that way she can prepare for you. Thanks.
She is also accepting hair styles of many kinds. Heres the link to the other thread. This thread tells ya a brief description of what she does. Take a look! After she is done going to the school, I think she might be going to Rocco Altobelli for a job, or some other well to do salon.
Brandon, your sister did an amazing job on my hair. I just want to thank you both of you guys. And let her know, I love it! I've been getting compliments all day!
Oh wow, that looks good! . Thank you again for going out of your way to help her! She is always trying something new when she is at home, experimenting and what not with different styles and colors. I think that she will go far in that industry, it seems to be her passion. She is also very happy and grateful :woot: She did an awesome job on my hair, even though I seem to be running low on teh hair. NOT Doc Brown yet.
I love Rocco's! I go to the one in Woodbury. I need my hair saved..I went to 5th Avenue in Hastings and they botched it I wanted a complicated cut and they didn't know how to do it - they even said that to me! I kept telling them what to do next! Plus, I wanted more blonde in it and it looks really stripey Does she do extensions? I want those for the wedding too, i would love to do business with someone I was referred to rather than picking some random - BTW, LOVE THE HAIR BEE!
SexiRexi. Yes, Bre does extensions, you are best to call her while at school. I know she can do extensions, but I dunno how far she has progressed.
Did I miss her contact number somewhere? Is it cheaper while she is in school? Thank you for answering my irrelevent questions long after this thread was posted lol
I need to find a stylist that will LISTEN to me. You say Roccos is good? Woodbury is 10 mins away for me. I have been to the Regis salon there, and that was ok, but spendy.
Well Rocco's isnt' excactly cheap either but I love the way they do your cuts - I like a lot of edgy, choppy styles and they aren't afraid to do what I want. I bet they have a lot of people come in and say they want something and then it doesn't quite turn out the way they expected or it looks better on the model in the picture they bring to show the sylist and they blame it on the stylist but as long as you are aware of that, it can be fun to try new things and have a stylist that will let you!
Here ya go, the contact information . Never mind the perm plea, hehe, thanks to BEE! Breanna is really into her work (she just bought $200 snips yesterday for her school work), and very willing to listen.
