Just got a used perrin cbe for my 2004 wrx wagon. great shape but has a v band connection. planning on switching the stock dp with a megan catless dp. will this fit or do I need to get it modded?

If it won't fit, have any recommended downpipes that will?

Isn't the V band connection at the axle back section?

So I guess the options are to 1. weld a normal gasket style connector to the mid exhaust 2. weld a v band connector to the new dp or 3. get a new dp with a v band connector.

any thoughts or suggestions on welders, v-band downpipes, etc would be a appreciated
