I just got my plates in the mail for my 05' STi, and none of the screws at the store seem to fit the holes. It seems the previous owner drilled some small holes on the front. The back already had set small threaded holes. Does anyone have either an 04/05 STi and know what I am talking about? Did you have to get a plastic mounting bracket or what worked for you? All of the screws at Checker were a bit too big. Stupid stuff...but I can't seem to figure out what I need. I haven't had to change plates on a car much, usually just tabs.
The bumper on the 04-05 is the same for all Imprezas. Just drill new holes, or find some very thick wood screws or something.
