what Did you say your name was?
I have problem, I have a set of 04' wrx cylander heads that I won in an e-bay auction.

the majority of the port work is complete, one cylander head is ported and polished so nice! it is a mirror finish and the port job is monsterous!

How ever, the other head has almost all the rough work done and is not polished, but by eyeballing it you would think that the port work is almost done.
Should I just do my best to eyeball it and match it up?

    Or...

do I need to bring somthing like this to a professional.

I would like to try to complete this, and I think I could take it in and get them flow benched to confirm they are ported close enough. But...

I would like to hear some opinions from people with years more expiriance then me.

Also... I KNOW that I cannot duplicate the mirror finish done on the one head, should I scuff it up to match the head I'm completeing? or does that even matter

i would leave it up to the professional. you want them to be flow tested and matched. make sure who ever does them does this. chimera can do it as i know that all there stuff its done correctly. raw is a good one also if you want to mail them out.
