Posts don't count in off topic. that said, THIS IS OFF TOPIC, grow thicker skin. Nobody stole your gas, this thread is almost as useless as your "sti screws" thread.
well...whatever the case may be. maybe you just need to relax and stop viewing everything as useless. if my threads are so useless to you, find something better to do than to continuously monitor them. you thought it was a dumb topic from page one, yet you continue to post. DON'T READ THEM! brilliant idea. :eek3:
Let me re-word what I was saying. It's probably normal. Take a look at the stock fuel pump/fuel level float: http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7437 If you've replaced a fuel pump on these cars, you'd know how easy it is to bend the float mount or install the float mount and have it catch on something. You'd also get an idea of how irregular the tank design is also. It's not a stretch to think that a stock, untouched fuel level float or sensor could be broken or intermittently failing. Reports of behaviors that suggest such failure are not uncommon either.
Interesting stuff... thank you for sending something useful my way. Thread purpose has been achieved...for the most part.
