I just had alignment on my 2003 WRX done this weekend at Tires Plus (I know, big mistake, should've gone to see The Alignment Guy. He'll be hearing from me soon.) Since then, I've been getting a 'thumping' noise from the front end when I go over even small bumps at low speed. I don't notice it at speed, but that could be due to wind/tire/engine noise. Car seems to be handling fine, however (never mind that my alignment is still f'ed). Suspension mods include KYB AGX struts, Prodrive springs, Whiteline F/R swaybars and Kartboy endlinks. Any thoughts?
Did you put any of those mods in during/before the alignment? Or was this just a 'spring-time' alignment?
All the suspension mods have been on the car for a while, no issues. The car had been pulling to the right, so I went in for the alignment.
I would have a real shop look at it and send tp the bill. they did 3 alignments on my legacy back in the day and in 2k miles my tires were cupped. they replaced the tires, morries did the alignment and I never had an issue again. tires plus FTL
Tires Plus FTL indeed. The guy who worked on my car said it was "straight as an arrow.". Sure, when the wheel is turned 10 degrees to the right. Never again. So, any ideas about what the noise might be?
