Seems like the only times I post here are when I have issues.... Anyways driving down to lacrosse this morning, I get about half way and I start getting a hesitation every couple of minutes. To me(not overly knowledgable of mechanics) it seems like a fuel or power cut. I don't know if it could be a misfire or what. The CEL isn't on. The car is an 05 wrx and is prob due for a tune up (plugs and such). During idal it sounds normal to me but that doesn't say much. Any help or advice is appreciated.

Are you flooring it in 5th? I am wondering if you were overboosting... giving it too much gas at a low RPM vs downshifting.

I do mine every oil change. It takes 1 minute, easy to do. I hope that is your solution!
