are these good deals. If not where could I find it for cheaper. http://www.gruppe-s.com/Subaru/PowerPackage2A.htm http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=16494 http://z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?model=wrx&cat=turbo&prodid=1025 There are so many sites that i could go to. Just wondering where i could get the best buy. Thanks Evan
The first package is the better deal, at least you get some kinda of engine mgt. The others don't come with anything, so plan on another $1000 just for that. Ya you can engine mgt cheaper, but they may be other little things you will need. I think you could do the whole thing alot cheaper than that and end up with some better parts. First decide what you want to do with the car (autox, drag, dyno queen, etc) than search for a turbo that fits. If you do some digging, pumps can be picked up for $80-90. I would go with some modded stock injectors, you can make them flow more that the sti injectors (more head room) for alot less (atleast 1/2 the cost). You can pick up use utec's and turbos fairly cheap. A ecutek reflash is a nice setup, but ther is nobody locally that can help with reflashes (for tunning). Accessports are the same way you can only run the parts the cobb has layed out in the tune. Ya, they are going to release their tuner program, but I might be dead by time that happens. Utecs are all over, they have some half-ass decent base maps, and local people can tune them (me). You can run whatever combo of parts you want. I guess it depends on if you want a plug and play setup and never have to mess around with any tuning, or something where you will get a bit more hp, but will have to make some winter mas and such. you know, i was looking towards the gruppe-s stage 2 for when the winter is over. but, i might just as well save up for UTEC, mod my injectors and a newer turbo and have you or my brother help me tune it, huh?
