So this morning in the extreme cold I here a loud wining noise under the hood, but disipates as the car warms up. Drive off and in 3 block power steering starts to go. And by the time I get to work I was man handling the car. Any way I'm Guessing its the pump, as I would think I would see fluid if I broke a line or something. Is the power steering pump on the 2005 OBXT the same as the pump on the 2005 NA Outback. There is a guy parting out a Na Outback about 15min from where I live, and while I would love to get a new oem part, I'm limited on time and resources. The main goal is to get it on the car tonight, as I'm driving south into the snow fall and would rather not take the wifes Ford Contour.
Welp I'm getting mixed results, with some part numbers matching, and other not. So I'm going to give it a shot, the pump off the 2.5i is only going to run 50 bucks figured I can put it up for sale if it doesn't work.
