I have a slingshot that I used to use for paintball. It was my "I'm out of ammo" thing, I'd pick up paint from the field and use it. Plus it was silent.
I got one of those back-pack SuperSoakers pump'in action deal...Hold 2-2liter bottles...I can just fill it with paint, but I think it only goes 30ft. ok ok...back to the thread...*seriously* I know Nate is gonna start calling me names soon...SOGY is already bad enough

No I dont... basically it is a forest.. pretty much like any other woodsball course but on someones land... I have been there 3 times now in the last month and a half and I even hired an old tech last weekend for th dya so I could play.. ha ha ha It is fun.. they are a great bunch of guys.. they are even more honest then most people that pay at the fields are... these guys do it for 'fun' to hang out, drink a beer or 2 and have fun... there is NO anger that I have seen at all... most the guys are over 25... so they are a little more mature...

OK GUYS - this is a PRIVATE property.. no professional setup... everyone brings everything they need for the day... paint, gas, gun, snacks. drinks... we set up a base camp with a tent and table... then play... basic setup.. I usually go to the paintball field in Jordan before heading out to top off my tanks.. 20oz tank $4 HPA not sure.. call them...
well seeing as they are all great sports we dont have referees.... dont need them cause nobody cheats..
Well, I had a lot of fun on the paintball day and I'm looking forward for the next one but I need to recover from it. My excuses are June 3 is too soon and I don't have any equipment. Where can a sexy guy like me purchase a decent gun, mask, and stuff?
You can get decent guns anywhere. %$#@!%$#@!%$#@!%$#@!s sporting good, Splatball, ebay, amazon, and please dont go to cs military surplus. They have bad customer service, no return policy and they're stuff is very expensive. Oh and fong. You didnt do anything all day. Only 2 kill that were girls just to be killed by another girl. Damn.
Fong... go to Gander mountain and get one of the tippmann 98 customs.. they come with a mask and a bottle I think with the gun.. abotu $170... good cheap reliable gun.. you oculf go to some PAWN shops I got a 98 custom for like $60 but most the times they want more than buying one new... that way its a gun to have when games are on.. reliable, durable and easy to maintain... or buy an autococker they go for around the $100 mark and are so damn quiet and smooth... but I dont know much about them... so this coming saturday ...... game on for now (will notify if plans change) if anyone plans to come please pm me or post here.... so I know numbers and can plan accordingly for meet times etc
Maybe I'll stop by Gander Mtn sometime and check out what they have. It'll be good to finally own a gun.

yes... unfortunately this saturday may be the last one till later in the year.. it all depends on how bad the bugs get and the weather....

I wont be making this event. As much as I want to come. This is my only full weekend off and I'm laying tiles in my kitchen this weekend. The owner before me carpeted the whole damn house. Even the damn kitchen. So I'll be stuck doing that.
Looks like there won't be too many MNSubie turn out on this event... I think the fall out point for me is I only have one air tank and it'll be a pain to keep driving back and forth to where ever to get it refilled. Nathan, what kind of air does your buddies use, CO2 or Compressed Air? Where do they get them refill after play? I run compressed air with my A5 and it runs out quick when you're in full auto mode. I can empty a 3000psi in 2-3 refill of paint (about 600 shots). Once I get home, I'm going to work on my marker and see if I can get it to work properly. I'll let you know if I can make it on Saturday or not. I'll keep you up-to-date by tonight.
well for one... they arent to keen on the full auto... most guys have anything from pumps to autocockers.... I have used maybe 3/4 of a 20 ounce tank of compressed air in one day... I didnt fire like a madman but I do have the A-5... you have to remember... there is anywhere from 10 - 30 guys on any given weekend so the fire fights wont be the same as having 100 people.... I take out 2 20 ounce with me and have never had to screw in a 2nd tank yet... thats the problem of playing er I mean SPRAYING paintball... on full auto.. lots of paint and air used for not a lot of results... some guys there have the pumps and they take out the young guys with fancy guns cause they can shoot accuratley...:biggrin:
Sorry guys... my ratchet in the cyclone feeder went out on me. I won't be able to make this one. Gotta get it repair soon or else I'll miss out on the next game. Hope yall have fun. Nathan, do any of your buddies have a spare ratchet for the cyclone feeder or have any good aftermarket ratchet part they'd recommend? The stock ratchet on these A5 are made out of plastic.

Its tomorrow saturday 3rd.... as far a s teh ratchet.... I thought most late release ones are upgraded... see any supply store... go to adventure zone?? on Nicollet they have a bunch of stuff...
no probs... they usually start around 11am... some guys turn up a littel later when they can... if anyone is coming they can meet at my shop by 9am tomorrow morning and follow me... I am going to my house to laod up my stuff first, tehn out to the local paintball field to gas up then off to the game... bring lots of bug juice and water
