Well here it is. 91 Legacy Turbo. Needs some rust removal and a few other mechanicals but all in all it's in decent shape. 214,000 miles and still going strong. Motor will be coming out to take care of a few minor oil leaks along with the the usual timing belt, oil pump seals, and water pump. Eventualy it should be getting a manual trans. swap but that requires money so we'll see how quick I can get that done.

White. No pink for this guy. You're welcome to ride with on some runs this year.

I'll give you a shout when it's cage time.

I am going to have to hit you up for some of those 5mt swap items.
Way busy this weekend but maybe Monday I'll pull that door and we can swap. While I'm there I'll try to canniblize the 93 for parts.

    Or at least Cendiv.

Starting with the basics tonight. Time to start gutting the interior and pulling the rotted out door.

Well, I made a bit of progress today. Put in the Duty C switch. When on it locks the front and rear at 50 50. Wow what a difference! No more waiting for the rears to do their job. Also removed the radio to put in a blank plate for switches.

I would highly concider wiring an aditional switch to the e brake light so when you pull the e-brake it opens the diff. This way you will not kill the tranny so quickly. I did this on my RS when it was stock and it worked like a charm.

I only used the e brake once all last year and that was when I was experimenting at the rallycross school. I'm really not a fan of using the e brake. I would rather set the car up with weight transfer to get the needed rotation. If I find I want to use it I will definitely add the switch to release the clutch pack when locking up the rears.

Lots of progress tonight. Interior was gutted, trans. cooler installed, AC system removed, and lots of sound deadening removed.
Big thanks to Sheen, Carl, and Dave for all the help.

Probably. Typically with the AT Subarus (you have an AT in that Foz? If not, forget it), there's a fuse you can install that disables AWD. You basically connect a relay to close that same connection when the switch from the parking brake activates.

I've also seen that people wire it from the parking brake light to the terminal on the switch you install to lock the diff. That way it draws power from the lights' circuit to energize the duty c solenoid. That should be enough juice to open the clutch pack up again when the light comes on.

You might try that, but if you're using LFB, I'm not so sure you want power to the rear wheels off all the time that you're on the brake. In many cases, yes, but maybe not all.

No, I meant the brake light on the dash. That way it will power the duty c when the e brake is pulled but not when you use the brake pedal.

How much simpler can it get? Remember how he didn't even back the car out correctly?

I still say there's tons of weight that can be pulled out of the interior/exterior... namely speed holes ;)
