Probably in a few weeks. I need to pick up some steel to weld in the hole.
I'm hoping to give it a rattle can paint job soon but that is pretty low on the priority list for now. I don't want to do the welding without some protection against rust afterwards. I will be trying to fit projects in the gaps in the rallycross season all year.

Cool. I was just wondering if it was on the agenda. Are you ditching the AC and all? The evaporator actually isn't that bad to take out.

    Richardson race products

I have a clip in 3 point for now. After the cage it will get a full harness.
Yep, the rib crusher. It was cheap and holds me in place. For now it will do the job.

they hold you real nice but if you were to get in any sort of side impact all of the force goes right to your ribs because of the wings on the sides. but with rallycross you have nothing to worry about

Leggy is ready to go for the morning. Fixed the tire rub issues. Installed new Impreza wagon springs and struts in the rear. The higher spring rate really helps the car rotate in a hurry. Thanks to Kevin, Andrew, and Brent for the help.

Not a bad first outing for the Tleg. 5th in m4 and 7th overall. I can live with that for now but I'm hoping more seat time will help get me back up to speed. Dave didn't even brake anything. I was impressed.

...and even got a better lap time than you! :p Not bad for an old man that had really no seat time in that car before the race.

Too bad I decided to drive on the wrong side of the exit control cones and Mark called me on it... That cost me a few points and pushed me down in the standings.

Finished EZ Bakes exhaust today on the cheap. Cut off flange to the down pipe replaced the cat with some leftovers from Joels exhaust project. Then threw on a turn down just before the rear diff. OMG is it loud! Kind of like Marks red raisin. Made a nice dust cloud in the garage when I started it up. I guess I don't need to sweep the floor any more. Also finished regreasing and rebooting the rear axels. The L brakes went on the front as well. Thanks for the trade goes to Chux dad. His wagon got a nice upgrade and I can fit 14" wheels for the IIRA series this winter.

The moon roof is out now and replaced with some 22 gauge sheet metal. Saved around 40 pound off the worst spot on the car for weight. It's not pretty but it will work. I put too much heat into the roof and warped it a bit but it will do the job.

That's after a few washes. I waited too long after one of the mud bowls and it turned into concrete. I think a pressure washer may be my only hope but that will be very wet and messy. Sounds like a job for the wife:biggrin:

Rear diff ready to be "lincoln locked" tomorrow. Center diff will be getting the same treatment as well. I can't wait to drive this thing with 2 out of 3 diffs locked up. Traction galore! Who needs fancy active diffs (Carl):biggrin:

No more driving to rallycrosses for this guy. Trailer time for the Tleg.

Although, I do know a certain crew chief that may have earned the use of the trailer. Oh, and the Slowti is slow.

    LOL, I wasn't lying!

It is, however, the easiest way to hold 1000whp in a Subaru.
