there was an NEON .. er srt4 on the side of Marschall today with one of those bright orange checks on it from the cops, I wanted to pull up and get a pic with my subaru in front of it, but I didnt have time to go get my camera and get back...

i bet if we were to go on the srt forums i'm sure we would get the same reaction as you feel here, being as there are two of those pics going each way, just my .02

 

awd is better then fwd its just fact!! in drag racing and auto X. the srt4 has more hp then a rex, thats why its faster! but a wrx will own a srt to 60 maybe further if the srt doesnt hook up

 

^^^No, but an AWD, strong, reliable, fun, and stylin' car makes me feel pretty damn good though!

personally NO.... I appreciate any one who is a genuine enthusiast and not a jerkoff.... regardless of vehicle... I just happen to drive a Subaru... my dream car is a 3rd GEn Rx7... with a 20b Turbo.. but my 1st GEn rebuild will have to do....

but I will say I hate driving Front wheel drives so thats why I got the subie... plus they have been around for years in Australia and have a greast rep so I had to have one for ALL YEAR round driving...

just relax and ignore the ones that are truly serious about teh crap

 

I made the chop...and no I don't hate SRT's, its just that I own a suby, work on suby's, and I love my AWD!!!!
...besides, driftin in FWD SUCKS!!!

 

I raced a SRT4 on hwy 65 in July of 2005...I was suprise how fast those suckers are from 40mph up...They pull good...I still wouldn't get them, in my head I'm still buying a NEON and I still can't get pass that. I don't care how fast it is..Talking about getting your $$$ worth though I'd say it is the best bang for the buck..Under 20k "Cheap Thrills"

If i wanted to own a car for 20k reliable miles just to go fast in a strait line, i would think about an srt4

but i want to have a quick reliable car past 100k miles, great quality in and out, go fast strait, sydwyz, and in the snizzow!
not to mention i just couldnt bring my self to buy a "neon"
