Tonight there is a lucky man. Lucky that I had the self control not to beat his ass into the pavement. If you see a homeless man muttering some crap about "cough it up," beat him. Or move your car. MFker runs a scratch along the length of the car then falls on my hood!!! WTF!!11 DRUNK-PUNK BISH!!1 I'm so ****ing pissed right now.

That guy should have been taught a lesson and pushed into the street. But then again, if the beatdown occured on the lot, Firestone might not let us hang out there anymore.

Is it that bad? Did he ding your car too? Post a Pic...I just sold a 2005 WRX new to a customer of mine and it had a really bad scratch, down to the metal. We had to bring it to ABRA and they did an awesome job. If insurance would cover you, let me know...I know the GM at Abra in Maplewood and they do a great job! I do not trust any other ABRA not all if them are the same.

Actually, I have a buddy at Raymond Auto Body. I'll probably go through him. Thanks though. It starts at teh rear fender, goes across both doors down the front fender over the hood and also down the front bumper.

W.T.F... Was he just leaning on your car drunk walking and then fell over your hood? While holding something in his hand scrapping your car? I'm confused as to how it all happened.

I would have ****ed him up good had that been my car.

It was the handlebars on his bike. And the pedal did the scratching on the bumper.

Hmm.. So the cops did get him. Good. I think that the situation is sh!tty, but you did handle it in the right way. The guy is probably no good for restitution, but at least your not going to jail with him for assult.

Yep, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. For probably a good solid 15-20 minutes. And that was ALL that he said. No sorry, not oops, no 'wow, I look ****ing dumb' or anything...and he ended every single sentance by saying "COUGH IT UP!"

my guess is he shambled up bum style as can happen from time to time in the midway and saw a crowd that he though might put up with his stories/give him cigarretes or money/be intimidated or impressed by him and engaged that crowd in his typical bum style.

At his income level i'm pretty sure it'd take him, oh... about 20 years to pay off the damage. Unless that is you can pay in copper pipes stolen from basements and cigarette butts.

We were standing there, as we always do. Me, Pete, Brian and threeRik. This guy comes from behind Firestone and wanders up to us and just proceeds to yammer away about needing smokes and how we should have bought a porsche and asking what we are doing there. Our answers to those questions were, "no, we don't have cigarettes." "we can't afford porsches." "just hanging out." After answering those questions with those answers about a dozen times we decided to move to the other side of the lot. He remained between Erik and My cars and kept yammering on to himself about coughing it up or whatever. We stopped paying attention to him because we'd figured he would just leave if we stopped paying attention to him. Which I think he was trying to do when he fell on the hood of my car. The whole time this is happening he is straddling his bicycle resting his weight on the handlebars...when he was trying to walk between our cars I guess he couldn't stand up straight and ended up scratching the paint on my doors and fenders before toppling over on my hood and sliding to the ground. He didn't drop hard on the hood, thankfully, so there were no dents, but the handlebars did some nice scratches across the whole of the car including the hood.

I spoke with insurance today and they cut me a check to get it repaired. I'll let you know how it goes when I actually take it in for the repairs. Hopefully soon they'll have it looking good as new again.

hey jason, lets go knock on his door...."caugh it up!!!!" then you can get paid twice if that punk arse has any doll-hairs to his name! That ID he had was just a state ID, cause it was only a green bar on top and not a red one like real drivers license. But it was him in the picture so he does actually have a home!
