I am getting one of these

    http://www.amazon.com/Exhaust-Turbo-Sound-Blow-Valve/dp/B000IPV3MG

    I love the description

General: - Do you want your car to sound like it has a turbo without spending $5000 on an actual turbo. The Exhaust BOV installs on your exhaust tip and makes it sound like a BOV from turbo every time you accelerate and let go of the gas pedal. Sound will vary between engines and mufflers. Best results are produced on a 3â exhaust tip.href="http://www.mimousafiles.com/prods/tsound.mp3">Listen to Exhaust BOV

You don't need a BOV for anything unless you're making 500 horsepower.

save yourself a ton of money and hassle......

remove the intake silencer located in the wheel well. this will give you the nice "swoosh" sound when shifting gears. Not as loud as a BOV, but not going to harm your car either. Another cool thing is the nice sound of air being sucked into the intake when you're on the throttle. :yumyum:

Well, unless you plan on running more than 19-20psi, there is no need to have one (unless you are looking for a $200 noise maker). Put you money towards exhaust or some form of engine management.

:wavey: I have a noise maker. I wanted to go with a HKS. But I got a HKS-S from Hercules. I wanted to go with a pull type then a push type. The only reason I got it because I'm a ricer at heart. Haven't had any problems with mine at all. Its loud like a bird getting choked to death.

I got the Perrin atmospheric one because the WRX recirculating one doesn't clear my throttle body cable stuff....the other Perrin recirculating one routes the same as the stock one... I would have gotten it if it didn't.

^^I dunno, maybe you're listening to the wrong radio station?;)

If you're just running the airbox with no silencer you should be able to hear it. I hear mine loud and clear, even with the 3" catless tbe and apeni n1.
